Who are we?
Ecobat Battery is Europe's largest player in battery distribution. We distribute batteries and accessories B2B to national and international customers and have strong growth ambitions. We supply our customers from our four locations in Rotterdam (head office), Wormerveer and Malle (BE). Service to our customers is very important at Ecobat; ordered today, delivered tomorrow, we like to go the extra mile for a satisfied customer. To continue our strong growth, we are looking for an Inside sales employee who speaks English and German. Do you also speak Dutch? Then that would be a bonus!
What will you do?
You will work in the export department. There, you will be part of a team of +/- 10 colleagues who are responsible for ensuring our strong growth. You will work within the inside sales department and will be managed by the Export Manager.
You will perform the following tasks:
- Prepare quotations and price offers to our customers in consultation with the export manager;
- Closing orders and associated follow-up;
- Advisory role to customers on our products;
- Identify sales developments/opportunities with our customers;
- Outbound phone calls.
It is a full-time position in an international environment. You will need to speak your languages well. In addition, we are a 24-hour company with accompanying dynamics, which makes our company and this position a lot of fun to work for. You will join an informal team where the lines of communication are short.
What do we expect from you?

- Good communication in German (absolute requirement), English and possibly other languages;
- Accurate and systematic worker;

- Good and efficient communication to colleagues and customers;
- Customer-friendly attitude;

- Problem-solving skills;
- Interested in the battery technology.
What do we offer?
We offer a fun position in an informal working atmosphere at an international organisation. In addition, you will get from us:
- Salary between € 3.000 and € 3.700 (based on fulltime);
- Good pension scheme with 2/3rds being paid by Ecobat;
- Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent contract;
- Bonus scheme based on company and personal targets;
- 25 annual leave days;
- Option to buy up to five additional leave days per year.
